What food can you buy for $1.25? A chocolate bar? A water bottle? Turns out, over 1 billion people are living on $1.25 or less everyday. We need to take action NOW in order to end hunger in our lifetime. On World Food Day (October 16th) FeelGood and Spoon University are hosting a grilled cheese luncheon at the University of Guelph. The proceeds raised will be donated to four organizations (The Hunger Project, The Pachamama Alliance, Water for People and CHOICE Humanitarian) dedicated to ending hunger sustainably.
Enjoy a grilled cheese made from local ingredients, enter for cool raffle prizes, take a picture or polaroid at our photobooth, listen to our fantastic speakers, watch a cooking demo, learn more about organizations already working on hunger issues and more importantly, learn how YOU can get involved!
